Revenue Streams
Hattori is built on a multi-layered revenue system that supports the project's stability and keeps players engaged.
We use well-designed monetization methods that create steady income while maintaining a balance between the game's economy and the quality of the player experience.
In-Game Purchases
The main source of income from in-game purchases comes from Emeralds, a currency used to buy items and bonuses.
Faster progress: Players can buy Emeralds to speed up their development by getting extra resources or temporary bonuses.
Cosmetic items: Players can customize their characters' appearance without affecting game balance.
Hattori follows the principle of fair play: all results can be achieved for free. Purchases only speed up progress but don’t give advantages in battles. This removes the Pay-to-Win model and keeps the game fair for everyone.
In the future, battle passes will be introduced, giving access to unique PvP and PvE events. However, there are currently no subscriptions or regular payments required.
Advertising
Advertising is an important source of income that helps keep the game accessible to all users.
Ad formats: We are testing different formats, such as videos and banners, to find the best balance between revenue and player comfort. Our main goal is to ensure that ads do not interfere with the gameplay.
Mandatory ads: In some cases, ads will be required, for example, to get temporary bonuses. In the future, a subscription option may be added to reduce the number of ads and offer extra benefits.
Rewards for watching ads: Ads are integrated into the game as part of the experience and offer players rewards. These include faster progress, saving collected loot after defeat, and temporary character upgrades.
Hattori’s approach to advertising focuses on balancing revenue with the quality of the player experience. This helps players see ads as part of the game while staying engaged and motivated.
Web3 Transaction Fees
Transaction fees in the Web3 ecosystem are an important source of income for the project. They are designed to be transparent and fair for all users.
What is taxed:
Token buying and selling: The fee amount depends on market conditions and timing but remains reasonable and fair for users.
Battle bets: A small fee is applied to PvP battles to support the project’s economic stability.
Dynamic fee structure: Fees vary depending on the type and purpose of the transaction. This allows for flexible revenue management and ensures the project’s financial stability.
Transparency: Players are always informed about fee rates in advance through the game interface or platforms like decentralized exchanges (DEX).
This model supports the Web3 infrastructure while maintaining user trust and convenience.
Battle Bets
Battle bets on the outcome of PvP fights are a unique feature in Hattori. They add excitement and make the game more engaging.
How it works: Players can place bets in a special game area called the tea house, located in the marketplace. In this zone, PvP battles take place, and players can bet on their own fights or on the battles of others.
Betting limits: Minimum and maximum bet limits will be introduced. The exact details will be announced after the feature is launched.
Commission: A small commission will be taken from each bet to support the project’s economic stability.
Security measures: To prevent system abuse, players can report suspicious bets. Every report will be reviewed to ensure the system stays fair and transparent.
This feature gives players new ways to engage with the game and serves as a stable source of income for the project.
User-Generated Content (UGC)
Hattori supports user-generated content, allowing players to contribute to the game’s development and earn from their creations.
Types of content: Players can create items that do not affect game balance:
Shurikens.
Costumes.
Character models.
Animations and visual effects.
Original phrases or voice lines.
Approval process: Content is submitted to the project’s internal marketplace, where it goes through:
Community voting.
Review by the team.
This ensures high-quality content and prevents unsuitable elements that could harm the game experience. Similar systems can be seen in games like CS:GO and Dota 2.
Rewards: Content creators earn a percentage of the sales from their items. This encourages users to produce high-quality work and supports the ecosystem’s growth.
The UGC system keeps Hattori dynamic, engaging, and unique. It gives players creative freedom and helps strengthen the community.
