Events

Events are competitive challenges where players earn $HATTORI by showing skill in different game modes. Each week from 3 to 10 events go live and you pick where to jump in. Join all of them or go for ones with less competition where your odds are better.

Check the Guides section to better understand how to interact with events.

Duration

Most events run for 7 days. Watch the timer joining in the last few hours might not be worth it.

You can check current events and their deadlines in "Events" tab in the Mini App.

Rewards Distribution

Each event has its own prize pool, which you can find on the event page.

The total prize pool is split into two parts:

  • 85% goes to rewards for winners.

  • 15% is set aside for a raffle among non-top players.

The winners pool includes players who are in the top 30% of those who scored at least one point.

For example, if there are 120 participants and 100 of them have one or more points, the top 30% of 100 is 30 players. These 30 share 85% of the prize pool. Inside this pool, players receive $HATTORI based on their score. The more points they earn, the bigger their reward.

The non-top players pool includes participants who didn’t reach the top 30% but still scored one or more points. The remaining 15% of the total prize pool is distributed among them under these rules:

  1. A Fixed Reward for non-top players is set at 80% of the smallest reward in the winners pool.

    • For example, if the last player in the top 30% gets 100 tokens, non-top players receive 80 tokens. This makes sure that non-top players do not earn more than winners.

  2. The number of winners in the non-top players pool is calculated. It is determined by the formula Total Non-top Players Pool / Fixed Reward.

    • If the pool is 1,600 tokens and the Fixed Reward is 80 tokens, then 1,600 / 80 = 20 winners.

  3. How are non-top player winners chosen?

    • Unlike in the winners pool, here the more points you have, the higher your chance to win the Fixed Reward.

    • On the event leaderboard, you will see percentages next to names showing your chance to win. For example, if one player has 5 points and another has 10, both in the non-top players pool, the second one has 2x more chance to win. This motivates everyone to earn more points.

    • The system randomly picks 20 winners (using our example) based on these probabilities.

Conclusion

This creates a balanced system where the top 30% of players are motivated to earn more points for bigger rewards because there is a direct link between score and payout. At the same time, non-top players are also motivated to score higher, since a better score gives them a higher chance to win in the raffle. Everyone stays active and engaged.
