# Game Introduction

**Hattori** is an exciting multiplayer skill-based game where players fight each other in regional arenas. Using matchmaking and a unique arsenal of weapons, they aim to climb the ranks and achieve the ultimate goal: access to the legendary **Book of Blood**.

During battles, players earn [in-game currency](/game-info/game-systems/in-game-currencies.md) and experience points that determine their rank in the system.

The **loot system** allows players to collect blood drops from defeated opponents and use them at the [altar](/game-info/game-systems/bazaar/charatacters-and-locations/blood-altar.md) to unlock new content and improve abilities. This is a key element of game progress.
